Family Tower

The project concerns the design of a polykatoikia (multi-storey apartment building) with three apartments, which will house people of the same family, in Alimos region, southeast Athens. During the design, an attempt was made to utilize as much useful space as possible, for the benefit of the users, with full application of Greek legislation.

On the ground floor, beyond the entrance stairwelle, an office space is created, which is connected by an internal staircase to the first floor and the second floor, forming an independent apartment with a living room, dining room, kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The third floor is an apartment with a living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. The fourth and fifth floors are connected by an internal staircase and form an independent apartment with a living room, dining room, kitchen, two bedrooms, a bathroom and a WC.

All apartments have large balconies, properly protected from rain and excessive solar radiation. The roof, in addition to the necessary E/M terminations, hosts a covered outdoor area for common use by the entire polykatoikia.
