The study area boasts as a new natural lung for Kozani and a space with intense cultural character, historic train facilities and new outdoor potentials.

The area is being developed as a new metropolitan park, raising the living standards of its inhabitants and acting as a lung for the city, discharging the streets with pedestrian, parking and bicycle rental while at the same time multiplying the green environment, the sustainable functions and containing the park energy autonomy.

The new metropolitan park will become a meeting point for daily walks and exercise in nature but also a starting point for entering the city.
