Urban upgrade of local axes – Mouson Street

The proposal focuses on urban upgrade of the main local traffic axes linking the different municipality areas where we experience today significant difficulties in the use of pedestrians, cyclists as well as vehicle traffic.

The main objective is to design attractive and safe pedestrian and bicycle ways, in this case on the west side of Mouson Street, as well as implementing potential measures to reduce speed of vehicles and provide leisure, recreational and parking spaces.

Through the choice of sustainable materials, less sealed surfaces, water management throughout the streetscape, circulation becomes safe, functional and sustainable for its citizens.
